Michigan Alliance for Environmental & Outdoor Education (MAEOE) Grants

MAEOE awards grants of up to $1,000 for projects completed by members that help achieve MAEOE’s mission of broadening the horizons of students, teachers, and families, to bring them closer to the natural world.  

Fall Grant Cycle Open Through 10/15/25

MAEOE awards grants of up to $1,000 for projects completed by members that help achieve MAEOE’s mission of broadening the horizons of students, teachers, and families, to bring them closer to the natural world. Grant Criteria: Grants available to formal and non-formal educators who are current MAEOE members and are limited to one application submission per grant cycle. Grants are considered twice a year (Spring: 02/01-03/15 and Fall: 09/01-10/15)

eCYBERMISSION

eCYBERMISSION is a FREE, virtual STEM competition for 6-9 grade students. Each team needs: 2-4 students, an adult Team Advisor, and a community problem to investigate or solve!

K-12 Teacher Incentive Program for STEM

Up to $400 for conferences and up to $200 for supplies are available to formal K-12 teachers.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis 

The Michigan Space Grant Consortium (MSGC) K-12 Educator Incentive Program is designed to encourage teachers to engage in STEAM educational enhancement activities, such as conferences and workshops, related to mathematics, science, and technology and to help purchase materials and supplies for innovative instructional initiatives.

Up to $400 for conferences and up to $200 for supplies are available to formal K-12 teachers.

6th-12th Grade Toshiba American Foundation Grant

Teachers are invited to apply for a $5,000 grant and a $5,000+ grant to help bring an innovative project into their own classroom.

The MSGC K-12 Educator Incentive Program is designed to encourage teachers to engage in STEAM educational enhancement activities, such as conferences and workshops, related to mathematics, science, and technology. And to purchase materials and supplies for innovative instructional initiatives. Preference is given to activities directly related to NASA strategic interests, including aerospace, space science, and Earth system science. Activities in other related science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEAM) fields, including educational research topics in STEAM, are also eligible for consideration.

GST Michigan Works! is dedicating $15,000 in Career Exploration Funding to support hands-on activities with employer-student interaction across their service area!

GST Michigan Works! is dedicating $15,000 in Career Exploration Funding to support activities across our service area. There is a cap of $1,500 per request. Activities MUST have a hands-on component and employer-student interaction. Requests will be reviewed and answered within one week. Documentation for reimbursement due before 5/30/26.

3P Learning in Action mini-grant

Up to $1,500 per project reimbursement for public K-12 teachers of any subject area, after-school groups, or any kind of informal educator already engaged in 3P Learning work.

This grant is intended to elevate the projects of educators already familiar with Problem, Project, or Place-Based Learning who teach within Genesee, Lapeer, and St. Clair counties. For accepted proposals, MiSTEM Region 6 will reimburse your district / organization for supplies, materials or related costs for up to $1,500 per project

Selected partners will receive three years of funding and technical support to design, launch, and implement reimagined teaching roles through a teacher-led co-design process.
