3P Learning Program containing over 20 hours of out-of-school watershed curriculum for grades 5-12.
9:00am-3:30pm at For-Mar Nature Preserve in Burton, MI. $200 Stipends available!

MiSTEM Region 6, in partnership with For-Mar Nature Preserve and Arboretum and the Flint River Watershed Coalition, has developed this 3-P learning curriculum that contains over 20 hours of out-of-school watershed curriculum for grade levels 5-12.

Learn what it takes to build a local computer science education plan for your school district by attending a SCRIPT Workshop!

The Strategic CSforALL Resource and Implementation Planning Tool (“SCRIPT”) is a framework used to guide the creation of customized implementation plans to meet the goals and needs of school districts that are seeking to create computer science education plans, guided by CSforALL values of rigor, inclusion, and sustainability. Cheryl Wilson from MDE leads this process free of charge. Our MiSTEM Region can provide stipends for teachers who participate in the summer (or sub reimbursements).

In collaboration with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM), Michigan State University is offering a 1-Day convening on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 9am-4pm in Lansing, MI to discuss advancing equity through decision making, with specific attention to teacher education. This event will bring various stakeholder together from MSU, the state, and the country to engage in realizing equitable STEM education across the State of Michigan.
