Algebra in Manufacturing
During this 4-day activity workshop in Rockford, MI, you will receive curriculum and activities that connect Algebra 1 to Career and Technical Education programs in Business, Entrepreneurship, Graphic Design, and Manufacturing Processes. Registration fees are covered and $1,400 travel stipends are available!

This workshop implements an innovative approach to math instruction with proven success at closing the achievement gap in mathematics education by strategically integrating math concepts into technology laboratory instruction and boost rigor in CTE. Registration will be paid for and a base travel stipend of $1,400 for lodging, mileage, parking and meals. June 9-12, 2025 in Rockford, MI.

Regional Mi-STAR Collaboration Day
Middle School science teachers are invited to Yale Junior High School for day of resource sharing, learning, and collaboration around Mi-STAR. Mileage reimbursement available!
Middle School science teachers who use Mi-STAR for their science curriculum throughout Genesee, Lapeer, and St. Clair counties (MiSTEM Region 6) are invited to come together this summer, on June 17 2025 at Yale Junior High School (198 School Drive, Yale MI, 48097) for a day of resource sharing, learning, and collaboration around Mi-STAR. Mileage reimbursement available!

The Strategic CSforALL Resource and Implementation Planning Tool (“SCRIPT”) is a framework used to guide the creation of customized implementation plans to meet the goals and needs of school districts that are seeking to create computer science education plans, guided by CSforALL values of rigor, inclusion, and sustainability. Cheryl Wilson from MDE leads this process free of charge. Our MiSTEM Region can provide stipends for teachers who participate in the summer (or sub reimbursements).
